Having a go at incorporating MidJourney (AI) into my workflow. So far, I've found it to be a fantastic tool for quickly generating concepts, which could be a game changer for independent artists like me. Excited to use this tool more to bring my novel to life!
Included the AI output I worked from for those who are curious. After finding an aesthetic I liked, I painted over in Clip Studio Paint, a little over 16 hours additional work on the piece. For someone who usually takes around 50 hours on a complex piece and can typically only do a full painting once every month or two amid my other commitments, this could really free me up creatively!
Will be making a video in the coming days about my thoughts on AI art and how it will affect the art industry. The short version is: I don't think we need to be afraid about being replaced!
